HealthSelect Medical Plans offer a "mid-med" solution bundled with valuable services.
The HealthSelect Medical Plan is an indemnity-based medical plan that provides limited coverage for accidents, illness, and specified disease. HealthSelect is guaranteed issue and has no deductibles, low $10 physician and specialist visit copays, and offers maternity coverage, even if you are currently pregnant.

HealthBasic Medical Plans are the perfect insurance solution for small businesses.
HealthBasic offers three coverage levels to fit the needs of small business: Hourly, Salaried/Manager, and Owner. The Hourly Employee Level is a basic limited medical plan at minimal cost. The Salaried Employee or Manager Level is a limited medical plan that covers a majority of needs at a reasonable cost. The Owner Level is a mid-level medical plan at a lower cost than major medical.

CriticalMed Plans can be a buy-up option for those enrolled in HealthSelect who are looking for enhanced coverage for catastrophic events, or a stand-alone option for those who are willing to self-pay their day-to-day medical expenses because they are more concerned about major events. |

Traditional Group Major Medical Insurance is generally the most flexible type of plan.
It allows participants to choose any doctor they want and see specialists without approval from a primary care physician. Depending upon the plan, there may be restrictions. Some insurance companies require customers to get their approval before checking into a hospital (except in cases of emergency). Policyholders typically have to pay out a minimum amount each year (the deductible) before the policy begins to pay. After the policy starts to pay, policyholders pay a percentage of the medical expenses, called a co-pay, and the insurance company pays for the rest. Many plans place a limit on the yearly out-of-pocket costs to policyholders to protect them from large medical expenses. Conversely, there may be a limit on the amount the insurance company will pay out over the course of the policyholder's life. |

Medicare Suplemental and Medicare Advantage Plans
In most states, Medicare Supplement plans, also known as Medigap, come in ten plan options, labeled A-N. Each plan A-N has a different set of benefits, but when private insurance companies offer Medigap plans, the benefits must be the same. Therefore, the main way plans can vary is by cost and underwriting requirements. Individuals should choose a Medigap plan with the benefits that best suit their needs, and find the insurance company that offers that plan at the lowest cost available.
Medicare Advantage Plans are part of the Medicare program. If you join one of these plans, you generally get all your Medicare-covered healthcare through that plan. This coverage can include prescription drug coverage. Medicare Advantage Plans include Medicare Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), private fee-for-service plans, and Medicare special needs plans. |
